Karen is the owner and director of Dance Alley. She has over 14 years experience in dance and over 9 years in choreography. Her background is mostly in competitive dance teams, hip hop and pom. She has danced for UK Wildcat Danzers, Morehead State, Lexington Lady Legends and various other school teams. Karen is eager to provide Lexington with a studio that specializes in hip hop and eventually hopes to coach competitive all-star dance teams here in Lexington!

Marie has been dancing since age 3. She has taken tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, pom, irish dancing and chorus line dance. She has taught children classes in tap, jazz and lyrical for 7 years. Marie has taken several master classes with Savion Glover, Steve Zee, Lane Alexander, Paige Price and Jeanine Meyers. She has recently starred in The Nutcracker with the Maryland School of Ballet.

Laurie was a member of her high school dance team for 4 years, one of which she was the Co-Captain. Being on a dance team she was able to learn many styles of dance, however her favorites are hip-hop and jazz. She has been an instructor at several youth dance camps and taught beginner jazz classes at Armstong Studios in her home town.
   
         
     
 

Hometown: Lexington, KY

Caroline has danced styles ranging from ballet, jazz, african to hip hop. She has over 10 years as an experienced dancer and graduated from SCAPA Bluegrass. She has danced for Mecca's Thriller Night and Rocky Horror Picture Show and has taught numerous dance classes throughout her career. Caroline loves dancing and will continue with it throughout her life.

At age 3, Emily began dancing and never really stopped.  Emily started with ballet and then has taken a lot of jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical and modern since.  She danced on a competitive dance team for four years in Chicago, IL and was captain on her high school dance team.  Since then, Emily has taken her love of dancing and began teaching and continuing to take classes on her own. 


    
         
     
 

Hometown: Florence, KY

Brooke has been dancing since she was 5 years old and has never quit. She was a member of a competitive dance team until her senior year of high school where she was trained in jazz, ballet, lyrical, tap, hip hop and drama. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a minor in Dance Education. Brooke has also traveled all over the US to multiple workshops where she has perfected her dance skills and has taken classes from professionals including Chris Judd. Sara has been dancing since the age of four. She has performed at the Frankfort Arts Foundation Showcase as a soloist and has also performed in several area pageants. Sara has taken classes in jazz, hip-hop, tap, and ballet. She has taught dance for four years and is currently majoring in elementary education at Eastern Kentucky University. Hometown: North Massapequa, NY

She has been in competitive dance, gymnastics, and cheerleading since the age of three. She found her real passion in competitive cheerleading when she discovered she could combine dance and gymnastics with cheerleading! Danielle went on to cheer at Morehead State University where she won a National Championship title on the All-girl squad. Danielle has always made health and fitness play a big role in her life. After cheerleading, she started to Zumba and has been hooked ever since.
